    Last updated 6 months ago

Chateau Cupertino is a retirement community that provides older individuals with independent living accommodations. Our senior apartments afford our residents the autonomy they prefer, but we also can facilitate tailored services for those who require more personalized assistance. Our Independence Plus Program is customizable to your individual needs.

    Individuals needing legal document organization

If you have yet to arrange important legal documents like your will, advanced healthcare directive, or financial power of attorney, Chateau Cupertino can put you in touch with the legal professionals who can assist with these vital instructions. Should you be uncertain as to whether you need one or all of these documents on file, we can also facilitate introductions to individuals who can explain the benefits of these documents.

    Residents with ongoing healthcare needs

Chateau Cupertino does not offer resident care, but we can coordinate third-party arrangements for all of your recovery and therapy needs. If you require rehabilitation services after hospital treatment, you can receive your speech, occupational, or physical therapy session at Chateau Cupertino. The ability to get your therapy on-site allows for less travel and inconvenience.

Those who have personal service requirements

Some Chateau Cupertino residents may require temporary or permanent assistance with their personal needs. That’s why we can help arrange for any personal services that you may desire. We have found that our residents can greatly benefit from hygiene assistance, medication monitoring, and grooming help.

No matter what your individual requirements are, Chateau Cupertino can see to it that they are capably filled by our trusted third-party contacts. If you have your own preferred legal or healthcare vendors, you are welcome to use them, as well. Above all else, Chateau Cupertino wants our residents to enjoy the quality of life that they deserve, and we will do all that we can toward that end. For more information regarding our senior apartments, please call (408) 446-4300.

How to Help Prevent Memory Loss as You Age

    Last updated 7 months ago

As a person ages, his or her tendency to have diminished cognitive function, including memory loss, increases. This video offers helpful tips for the prevention of cognitive decline.

Seniors may notice that as they get older, their ability to retrieve information or process new data becomes more difficult. Everyday activities such as cooking or driving may also present problems if a person cannot focus as easily as in the past. To combat these cognitive issues, senior citizens need to be sure to maintain healthy eating habits and a regular physical fitness regimen. You should also work on mentally stimulating activities, like crossword puzzles.

Chateau Cupertino offers a wide range of stimulating physical, social, and mental activities for our independent living residents. Call us today at (408) 446-4300 to find out more about our senior housing.
